#2019WinterBibibTBR

readathon

I first joined in on the Biannual Bibliothon in the summer of 2016 and I’m very proud to say that I haven’t missed a round of it since.  With that being said, I bring you my TBR for the Winter 2019 round.

Challenges I will be doing:
Challenge 1: Read the Group book- Empress of All Seasons by Emiko Jean
Challenge 2: Read one of the hosts’ 5-star reads- The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
*Challenge 3: Read a book that got you into reading- The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
Challenge 4: Read an adult genre- The Winter of the Witch by Katherine Arden
Challenge 5: Combine your favorite genre with your least favorite format or the opposite: The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.  For this challenge, I will be listening to the audiobook.  Read this post if you want to know more about my relationship with audiobooks
Challenge 6: Read a book with a cover you don’t like- 99 Days by Katie Cotugno
Challenge 7: Read a book by an author you’ve never read before- Empress of All Seasons by Emiko Jean

I will be doubling up on challenges 2 and 5 and challenges 1 and 7.

*Regarding this challenge: Growing up I was always surrounded by books, and for me, there was never one book that got me into reading because I’ve always been a reader.  So for this challenge, I went with a book that has significance to my journey as a reader as recommended by LittleRedReader.  The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is the first fantasy book that I remember reading.
