#MoodyMay

challenge

I am so excited for this monthly challenge hosted by Kathy at Books and Munches.  The name of this challenge is Moody May.  There is no set TBR so you read what you feel like reading.  This challenge is not only perfect for me as I’m a huge mood reader and I’m not a fan of TBR’s, you can read that post here, but for other mood readers as well.

Here are the rules from Kathy’s blog:
●Post a blog post/comment/ Tweet / whatever saying you’ll be joining me in my mood reading spree!
●Share your complete TBR and show which one you’re very probably starting Moody May with.
●If you’re sharing your updates on social media, use #MoodyMayBM so we can follow up on each other!

If you want to know what my complete TBR is you can find it here, and you can find my owned books TBR here.  I also have no idea what I’m going to read first, I’ll see what I’m in the mood for reading.

#ContemporAprilTBR

A List of Cages by Robin Roe (reread)
The Color Project by Sierra Abrams

Am I going to read all of these books? no, but that’s what “tentative” is for, and having a somewhat large list gives me options.

#OWNtober

challenge

Kathy at Books and Munches is hosting a challenge called OWNtober. The challenge is to read books that I own.

Here are Kathy’s rules:
◊ Post a blog post/tweet / whatever saying you’ll be joining me in my battle against the ever-growing physical TBR-piles and pingback to this post.
◊ Share your list of all the books you own and then decide which ones you’re going to read first.
If you can’t figure out a sequence for yourself, you can always start a poll and let others help you out!
◊ If you’re sharing your updates on social media, use #OWNtober so we can follow up on each other!

If I made a list of all the books I own that I haven’t read it would take forever, especially because I haven’t cataloged all of my eBooks in LibIb yet. However, I do know what books I own that I haven’t read yet. Also, Seeing as how I’m such a mood reader, I’m not going to decide which ones I’m going to read first or create a poll. Hopefully, I’ll share updates on Twitter. I’m also hoping that I can take a good chunk out of my TBR, which isn’t that outrageous, as it is under 130 books and quite a few have not been published yet.  Another thing, a lot of books that have yet to be published are books that I will most likely borrow from the library when they are published.
