I’ve done these posts in the past to keep me accountable for my goals. However, seeing as how I decided to do things differently this year with my goals and challenges, I still thought it would be great to do these monthly updates.
You can read what my goals are and the challenges that I’m participating in here.
Goodreads/Storygraph: Read one book. I’ve already accomplished this goal. I have no regrets about setting my goal of reading one book and not changing it once I reached it. I feel much freer in my reading life.
Read more backlist books: I am doing okay with this goal. The book I am currently reading is a backlist book
Read more books about social justice written by Black authors: I have not read any books yet. I will be reading some books soon and not just in February either.
Modern Mrs. Darcy– This has been fun so far. I have already done one of the things that I wanted to do for this challenge. You can see what my reading adventure looks like on Bookstagram.
Library Love– Dewey Decimal: Read 12 books. For this challenge, I have read three out of 12 books.
Post weekly reading updates: So far, I’m doing well with this goal
Post reviews weekly: This one has been easy.
Try to post more discussion posts: This one might be tricky because I have a hard time coming up with discussion post ideas, but I do have some.

I love seeing people’s updates on their challenges throughout the year. Last year I did monthly updates but this year I think I’m going to do and update every 2-3 months.
I’m gonna try and stick to monthly, even though I went extremely light on challenges this year.
I had planned to take it easy with the challenges this year but I ended up with about 10 again. I just love participating in challenges.
I’m looking for some easy, fun Bookstagram challenges to do.
I’m not very good at being active on Instagram.
