Right now, I need to take a step back from blogging, and no I’m not going to explain myself because I don’t feel like I owe anyone an explanation. There will be no weekly posts such as Friday Update and book reviews. I may or may not post my mid-year goals and challenges update. I will still be participating in Calendar Girls, and I will most likely combine my May, June, and July monthly wrap-up posts. Does taking a break from my blog mean that I am taking a break from reading? No, I’m still reading. Many of you may have noticed that I haven’t been as active on Twitter, I’m not explaining myself there either. I have also put my focus on finding and reading more anti-racist books to further educate myself. Right now, I’m currently reading Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston.
