Calendar Girls is a monthly blog event created by Melanie at MNBernard Books, and Flavia at Flavia the Bibliophile, and will now be hosted by Katie at Never Not Reading, and Adrienne at Darque Dreamer Reads. It is designed to ignite bookish discussions among readers and was inspired by the 1961 Neil Sedaka song, Calendar Girl. (Information from Katie at Never Not Reading)
Each month there is a new theme and the theme for June Pride: Favorite Book with LGBTQ+ Representation.
My favorite book with LGBTQ+ Representation is:
I have to admit, that I haven’t read too many books that have LGBTQ+ representation, and that is something that I definitely need to change. However, Adam Silvera is one of my favorite authors.

I’ve seen your pick around! But I’ve been so scared to pick it up because I know it’s gonna make me cry buckets and buckets of tears haha
It definitely is that kind of book.

I know nothing about this book, but am familiar with the author. Are all of his books LGBTQ?
Yes, and own voices too.

I haven’t read this one yet but I have heard so many great things about it!
The only books that I haven’t read of his yet are They Both Die at the End and What If It’s Us, which he wrote with Becky Albertalli.
I really need to read some of his books! Great choice!
Thank you! I really enjoy reading his books, they’re very readable.
It does seem like it. I don’t know why I haven’t read any yet but they are moving up on my list!
