Kathy from Books and Munches hosts monthly challenges on her blog. For the month of April, the name of the challenge is ContemporApril. The goal is to read contemporary books.
From Kathy’s blog:
Rules
◊ Post a blog post/comment/Tweet/ whatever saying you’ll be joining me in reading as contemporary novels as you can or own!
◊ Share your list of books and show us which ones you’re going to try and read.
◊ If you’re sharing your updates on social media, use #ContemporApril so we can follow up on each other!
Here is my TENTATIVE (not set in stone) TBR:
Meet Me in Outer Space by Melinda Grace
The Astonishing Color of After by Emily X.R. Pan
96 Words for Love by Ava Dash and Rachel Roy
Odd One Out by Nic Stone
Pride by Ibi Zoboi
How To Love a Jamaican by Alexia Arthurs
On the Come Up by Angie Thomas
A List of Cages by Robin Roe (reread)
The Color Project by Sierra Abrams
Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman
Am I going to read all of these books? no, but that’s what “tentative” is for, and having a somewhat large list gives me options.
