Today’s review is for This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab. This review can also be found on Goodreads.
I loved this book, it was so different and unique. I loved how it started off from two different points of view (there are very few books I’ve enjoyed from multiple POVs) and how well the two stories came together to become one story. I was really surprised by the ending and did not see it coming at all, but loved it. I can’t wait to read Our Dark Duet.

Multiple POVs can be really hard. I’m glad this one worked for you and that the story really came together!
Thank you, and yes multiple POVs can be difficult, I think it depends on the book and the story. I’ve come across books with multiple POVs where I can’t read them, like Six of Crows, An Ember in the Ashes and Game of Thrones, and then I’ve come across books with multiple POVs that I have no problem reading.
I do think some people go overboard. Usually I’m ok with two, but some of the books with six or more seem a little wild to me.
Sometimes I can’t even do two. And yes, some definitely do go overboard. More than two is excessive.
