Today’s review is going to be a review of a whole series. One of my goals this year was to finish series that I have already started, and I recently finished one of them. I recently finished The Land of Stories Series by Chris Colfer.

Worlds Collide, the final book in the series.
Last year (2018), I read the first three books in the series, and I just recently finished reading the last three. This was such a refreshing middle-grade fantasy series, that takes fairy tales like Cinderella, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty and more and puts them into their own world called the Fairy Tale World. The Series follows twins Alex and Conner Bailey as they discover who they really are, travel to the Fairy Tale World, grow up, meet some amazing characters, make new friends and fight evil along the way. This series has a great sibling relationship, strong friendships, and a complex world. I really loved this series, and it is one that I would love to see adapted for Netflix.
Here are links to my Goodreads reviews:
The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell
The Land of Stories: The Enchantress Returns
The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning
The Land of Stories Beyond the Kingdoms
The Land of Stories: An Author’s Odyssey
The Land of Stories: Worlds Collide
These are SO popular that they’re kind of on my list of “books that are so popular I’m not sure I want to read them.” I guess I’m afraid they’ll not live up to the hype or something, but I’m glad to see you like them!
Thank you. I didn’t know that they were wicked hyped.
That sounds so cool, I don’t think I’ve heard of this series before even though the name Chris Colfer does sound familiar. As a fantasy and Disney lover, this sounds right up my alley.
Chris Colfer played Kurt Hummel on Glee!!
Oohhhh yes, that’s how I heard of him!
If you’re looking for more middle-grade series that are complete I highly recommend Land of Stories.
I saw your reviews on this! I’ll look them up on Goodreads.
