Today’s short discussion, which is the first one I’ve done in a while is about what is considered a successful week in reading. Sha from Book Princess Reviews left a comment on my most recent (at the time of posting this) Friday Update about how many pages I read, and it got me thinking about looking at how many pages I read versus how many books I read. I could read two books, but a lot of pages. So for me, a successful reading week going forward isn’t in how many books I read in that week, it’s about how many pages I read.
What about you? What do you consider a successful reading week?
I think a successful reading week totally depends on the reader. It can be based on the amount, or on what exactly was read, or what was learned during that reading. I don’t judge my reading by the weeks, since there are a lot of weeks I don’t read anything. But I know that for a lot of people, this is a good way to motivate them.
Thank you!!
You’re welcome 🙂
Mine’s one where I either finish a book or read every day of the week. I don’t keep track of pages usually.
That is a great way to determine your sucessful reading week.
I consider any amount of books/pages successful.
That’s you. I’m not doing that anymore, I’m gauging a successful reading week by the number of pages I read.
I know you asked what we considered a successful week and I thought I would share with you what I consider successful.
