One of my goals this year is to post one book review a week, so today I bring you my first review of the year.
The Haters by Jesse Andrews review (you can also find this review on Goodreads):

I’m going to be completely honest with this review. First of all, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl wasn’t my favorite book, but I didn’t hate it either. Why it took me so long to read this book is beyond me. This book was hilarious and such an adventure. I also loved the use of swear words, it made the characters more relatable. I loved the way this book was formatted too, especially the conversations, which were so entertaining to read. There is some music terminology in this book that I didn’t understand but it did not take away from my enjoyment of this book.

Oh! I’ve never heard of this book before… I’m always up for some swearing in books, so I’ll be adding this one to my tbr. I’m happy you enjoyed it.
Thank you!
I saw this book SO MUCH at my last library because they were doing a display of rainbow books in the teen room, and it’s one of the few books that had a nice, bright yellow cover. I don’t think it got checked out too much though because it seemed to be always in the display.
A bit blurry, but this was what they were going for, with rainbow books face out on each bookcase: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bjs9v1ql5dF/.
That’s amazing and such a creative idea!
I love how bright the cover is, it’s very cheery.
This has been on my TBR for a while. There’s no telling when I will actually read it though. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you!
You’re welcome.
