Calendar Girls is a monthly blog event created by Melanie at MNBernard Books, and Flavia at Flavia the Bibliophile, and will now be hosted by Katie, and Adrienne at Darque Dreamer Reads. It is designed to ignite bookish discussions among readers and was inspired by the 1961 Neil Sedaka song, Calendar Girl. (Information from Katie at Never Not Reading)

Each month there is a new theme and the theme for January is A 2019 release that I’m most looking forward to.

The 2019 release that I am most looking forward to is:

    • I loved The Hate U Give too once I got my hands on it from the library after waiting close to a month. I preordered the Nook book of On The Come Up this morning.

    • I loved The Hate U Give too, I preorderd the Nook book of On The Come Up this morning. I borrowed The Hate U Give from the library and it took me almost a month to get it, this past summer it was on every single summer reading list too. I think books like The Hate U Give are so important and need to be read.
