#JanuaryJamJar

challenge

Kathy from Books and Munches hosts monthly challenges on her blog.  For the month of January, the name of the challenge is January Jam Jar.

From Kathy’s blog:

Rules
◊ Post a blog post /Tweet/comment/ whatever saying you’ll be joining me!
◊ Create your TBR jar by writing down the books you want to read during January on scraps of paper and put them in a jar/mug/ whatever floats your boat!
◊ Share your list of books that you’ll be putting in the jar and maybe already pull out a book or two!
◊ If you’re sharing your updates on social media, use #JanJamJar so we can follow up on each other!

The list of books that will be put in my jar:

Mirror in the Sky
by Aditi Khorana
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
Challenger Deep by Neil Shusterman
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
Ana of California by Andi Teran
The Haters by Jesse Andrews
Starflight by Melissa Landers
Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley
Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens
Neverland Wars by Audrey Greathouse
Wink Poppy Midnight by April Genevieve Tucholke

These are all backlist books that I’ve been meaning to read.  My plan is to only read four of these books.

I am participating in this challenge as well this month. I am behind on my posts at the moment so I still haven’t posted mine but hopefully it will be up sometime this week. I think I put like 30 something titles in my jar. I plan to continue on with it throughout the year.

I put all of the books that I had put on my 2018 TBRs but never got around to as well as all of my NetGalley ARCs that I still haven’t read in mine. I do t have a set number on how many I read this month. I’m curious how it’s going to work for me too because I always set a TBR each month that I pretty much will stick to so drawing these at random is going to be hard.
