Kathy at Books and Munches is hosting a challenge called OWNtober. The challenge is to read books that I own.
Here are Kathy’s rules:
◊ Post a blog post/tweet / whatever saying you’ll be joining me in my battle against the ever-growing physical TBR-piles and pingback to this post.
◊ Share your list of all the books you own and then decide which ones you’re going to read first.
If you can’t figure out a sequence for yourself, you can always start a poll and let others help you out!
◊ If you’re sharing your updates on social media, use #OWNtober so we can follow up on each other!
If I made a list of all the books I own that I haven’t read it would take forever, especially because I haven’t cataloged all of my eBooks in LibIb yet. However, I do know what books I own that I haven’t read yet. Also, Seeing as how I’m such a mood reader, I’m not going to decide which ones I’m going to read first or create a poll. Hopefully, I’ll share updates on Twitter. I’m also hoping that I can take a good chunk out of my TBR, which isn’t that outrageous, as it is under 130 books and quite a few have not been published yet. Another thing, a lot of books that have yet to be published are books that I will most likely borrow from the library when they are published.
I am a mood reader as well. Excited to have you in this challenge. 🙂

Yay for joining! All the luck with tackling as many books as you can. 🙂
Thank you!
This concept is a really great one. I’m always looking to tackle my owned tbr, but I really keep failing without some sort of incentive. Having a plan in place for this with a month of reading would be really good. Intrigued to see how your progress goes, Ashley, and I might have to look into doing it myself. Wonderful post! 🙂
Thank you! I’m too much of a mood reader to have a legitimate plan.
