If you are new to my blog, Friday Update is a feature in which I provide an update on what I read during the week, sometimes what I’m currently reading and sometimes what book/books I plan on starting over the weekend.
Today’s Friday Update is going to be a little different. This past week I started a book, Couples by John Updike. I only read 35 pages and I’m going to remove it from my currently reading list, I am also not going to count those pages since I removed it from the list. I WILL be reading it at a later date. It isn’t often that I remove something from my currently reading list. I will be starting one of the books that I have to read for school instead.

Was Couples just not working for you right now, or do you have to prioritize some school reading?
It’s a big book to read right now with school reading being the number one priority. I’ll hopefully get ahead with school reading this week. There’s also a readathon starting Saturday that I’m participating in too. When I have more time I’ll definitely pick it up again, what I did read, I really enjoyed.
