If you are new to my blog, Friday Update is a feature in which I provide an update on what I read during the week, sometimes what I’m currently reading and sometimes what book/books I plan on starting over the weekend.
What I read this week, the week of 4/20/18-4/27/18:
The Iliad and the Odyssey by Homer: 276 pages, which brought me to the end of the book. Yes, I finished The Iliad and the Odyssey!
Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller- 141 pages
I’m buddy reading Song of Achilles with Chelsea from usherslibrary
Currently reading: Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, I will most likely finish reading this later today.
Pages read: 462
Weekend plans:
Mr. Popper’s Penguins by Richard and Florence Atwater on Playaway. If you didn’t see my most recent Bookstagram post, I mentioned that I’m going to give audiobooks another chance. Since Mr. Popper’s Penguins is two hours, I will most likely start the audio of Circe (k EE rk EE) by Madeline Miller afterward, and then probably finish Circe on eBook if I’m not liking the audio.
Nice job finishing The Iliad and the Odyssey!! 🙂
Thank you, it was challenging but I really loved the challenge. The Iliad was much more difficult to read than The Odyssey. The Odyssey is more of a story.
It’s always great to challenge yourself a little. I am glad you really enjoyed it! 🙂
Thank you, and it really is.
