Today’s challenge is hosted by Dominique from Pirates and Pixie Dust.  Her challenge is to write the synopsis of a book from the villain’s perspective.

I could have taken the easy way out with this one and went with writing the synopsis of Harry Potter from Voldemort or any one of the Death Eaters, but I wanted to do something different.

Villain’s synopsis:
Jason from The Argonautica by Apollonius of Rhodes
Sometimes the heroes you thought were heroes aren’t really heroes at all, they’re villains. Jason is no different. He was made the leader of a group on a mission to steal something to prove to his murderous uncle that he and not his uncle is the rightful ruler of Thessaly. His uncle Pelias stole the throne from Jason, he killed the former king of Thessaly and took the throne for himself when Jason got to Thessaly. Jason’s mission is to steal the Golden Fleece, which isn’t his to steal, to begin with. The Golden Fleece belongs to someone else. This is Jason’s story of how he takes back his place on the throne of Thessaly by manipulation, thievery and a broken promise.
