Top 5 Wednesday was originally created by Lainey from Gingerreadslainey and is now hosted by Sam from Thoughts on Tomes. There is a Goodreads group which lists the topics. I will only be participating in this once a month!
This week’s topic is books that represent your Hogwarts House, and I could not pass this one up. Since I identify as a RavenDor, I figured I would list books that I feel represent both Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. My singular house is Gryffindor in case anyone was wondering.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen- If you’ve ever read this book, the conversations and banter are filled with wit.
Maud by Melanie J. Fishbane– Maud loves to learn, is her own person, and has a tendency to get into a little bit of trouble.
Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery – Anne has such a creative imagination that sometimes gets her into trouble.
The Wrath and the Dawn– I see Shazi’s actions as courageous and brave, she also has a knack for creative storytelling.
A List of Cages by Robin Roe- It takes a lot of courage and strength to do what Adam did in this book.
Great choices. Very accurate.
Thank you. I tried to use books that people wouldn’t even think to put on their lists.
That’s a really awesome and hard to pass topic. I’m a Ravendor too! But my singular house is Ravenclaw. The witty banter in Jane Austen’s novels is why she is one of my favorite writers.
