It has been a while since I have posted a Top Ten Tuesday, but I was really excited for the topic this week. Top 10 Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is 2017 debuts I’m excited for.
A List of Cages by Robin Roe- I read this book in three hours and 20 minutes this morning. If you follow me on Goodreads you can read my review there. A List of Cages will be published on January 10, 2017.
Caraval by Stephanie Garber- I am so intrigued by the synopsis of this book, it seems like there will never be a dull moment. This book will be published on January 31, 2017.
The Elven Tales: The Company of the Rose by Fabi Ghittoni- I was lucky enough to read the first two chapters of this book and was hooked, I can’t wait to read more, I actually already have this book on pre-order. This book will be published on February 2, 2017.
American Street by Ibi Zoboi- This is an own voices novel about immigration. One of my reading goals for the year is to read more diversely, and I love the synopsis of this book. This book will be published on February 14, 2017.
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas- I read an excerpt of this book on a website, I can’t remember which. I think this book is so important to read because of everything that has been going on. This book will be published on February 28, 2017.
Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor- The cover is gorgeous and reading the synopsis it sounds like this book has elements of mythology! This book will be published on March 28, 2017.
Royce Rolls by Margaret Stohl- I loved the synopsis of this book. I also have an ARC of this from NetGalley and I can’t wait to read it! This book will be published on April 3, 2017.
Girl out of Water by Laura Silverman- I have an ARC for this from NetGalley and I can’t wait to read it a little closer to the release date. This book will be published on May 1, 2017.
Flame in the Mist by Renée Ahdieh- The cover is gorgeous, and the synopsis reminds me so much of Mulan! This book will be published on May 16, 2017.
The Color Project by Sierra Abrams- I love the synopsis of this book, it seems like it will be centered around family and friendship and I think that is amazing! The Color Project is estimated to be published on November 1, 2017.
I loved Caraval! I hope you enjoy it 😀 I also can’t wait for The Hate U Give!!
Thank you, and I can’t wait for it either!
A List of Cages sounds so interesting! I love books I can read in less than a day! 😀 There are so many books with gorgeous covers this year!
American Street is one of the books I wish I had included in this week’s Top Ten Tuesday. I’m really looking forward to that one as well. Great list!
Thank you!
I’m excited for Strange the Dreamer as well. But I don’t think it’s Laini Taylor’s first book. Just fyi.
I’m fully aware that it isn’t her first book, but it is the debut book in a new series, same thing with Flame in the Mist.
