I watch a lot of BookTube, and these are the books that I read because of BookTube. Just because a book or a series of books is on this list, it doesn’t necessarily mean that I enjoyed them.

I just bought the Magicians recently because of all the praise I see about it + the TV series. Which book/series among the ten would you recommend?
Definitely Furthermore, Serafina, and Miss Peregrine’s. I really enjoyed The Unexpected Everything if you’re looking for contemporary. I didn’t enjoy the Magicians at all, I gave it two stars on Goodreads.
I’ll check them out! I’ve heard a tone of good things about the Unexpected Everything. Ah. I think I’ll still read the Magicians, maybe not so soon.

Oh my gosh, I cannot believe I forgot the Percy Jackson series. That was recommended to me as well. Now I feel like a bad blogger.
That was a series that I did not enjoy at all, especially Sea of Monsters.
I have the first book of Mafi’s Shatter Me series, but I’ve heard good things about Furthermore as well. How was it?
I absolutely love it, the writing was colorful and beautiful.
I really like The Magicians series. It’s an excellent story. You’ve got a great list. I need to read the Kiera Cass and the Miss Peregrine books. I’m sorely behind.
I gave The Magicians two stars, I didn’t like it enough to continue with the series.
