Top 5 Wednesday was originally created by Lainey from Gingerreadslainey and is now hosted by Sam from Thoughts on Tomes. There is a Goodreads group which lists the topics.
This week’s topic is books that took the longest to read. For whatever reason, these are the books that took me the longest to read. To come up with the list, I consulted both my reading journal and Goodreads.
The Argonautica by Apollonius of Rhodes- Read from June 24, 2015, to July 5, 2016
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott- Read from July 5, 2015, to August 20, 2015
Pedro by Pedro Martinez with Michael Silverman- read From August 25, 2015, to November 17, 2015
Beloved by Toni Morrison- Read from March 10, 2016, to March 31, 2016
For Crown and Kingdom by Grace Draven and Jeffe Kennedy- Read from August 9, 2016, to August 31, 2016
The reason it takes me so long to read books is because they were quite boring or I went back to the library, got some more books, and decided to read them instead. It took me a while to read “The Glass Sentence,” which I didn’t get done with, and “Insurgent.” Great post by the way! 🙂
Thank you, and I love the library!
Me too! It is my home away from home. 😀
I use overdrive and Hoopla for ebooks a lot too! My libraries have a great selection of ebooks!
Cool! I’ll have to check those out.
