#TopTenTuesday 12

top-10-tuesday

Top 10 Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish.  This weeks topic is rewind, which means to revisit a past Top Ten Tuesday topic.  I decided to do childhood favorites.  This is just a list of 10 that I came up with off the top of my head, and there are definitely more books that are childhood favorites of mine.  These are books that I love each for their own reasons.

Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White

Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder

The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg

Make Way For Ducklings by Robert McCloskey

Stuart Little by E.B. White

Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt

Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne

The Nutcracker- There are different adaptations written by different authors, I don’t know which adaptation that I have or the author.

A Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein

  1. I’ve actually never read any of these before, but I’ve seen a lot of the movie adaptations. Nutcracker is the one with the Sugar Plum Fairy, right? Really love that song.
