I recently hit over 100 followers on this blog, so I figured it would be the perfect time to do these awards. These awards are the second and third blogger awards that I was nominated for, and I decided that I would combine them into one post. I also really appreciate being nominated for these awards, and I’m really grateful for all of my followers.

Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award too
How this blog started:
I have actually had this blog for a while, since June 20, 2012 (yes, I actually went back to find my first post). I started my blog as a place to post my random thoughts on a variety of things. Since then, my blog has evolved into a more bookish blog, which I’m quite happy with. I feel that I still do post some random content here and there, but not as much as before. I really do enjoy the fact that my blog has more of a focus on content.
Advice to new bloggers:
My first piece of advice, your blog is yours and nobody else’s. You write for yourself and not for others. Not everyone is going to relate to the content that you post, just don’t get discouraged and take some advice from Dory, “just keep swimming, just keep swimming.” You just have to keep going, even if you feel like giving up.
My second piece of advice, you don’t have to follow every blog that follows you. While you might feel inclined to do this, it isn’t always the best idea. It is extremely important to follow blogs where the content is relevant to you or you really enjoy the content. You might feel guilty for not following blogs back, but you shouldn’t.
My third piece of advice, take breaks when you need them but still remain active. While you may not be posting, you can still be active by reading and commenting on blogs that you follow. I took a two week break from both of my blogs, however I was still reading and commenting on the blogs that I follow.
My last piece and most important piece of advice: HAVE FUN!!!!

I love reading all of your answers! And wow, you’re truly a dedicated blogger and very admirable indeed. Those advice are really helpful, I feel entitled to follow back everyone but you really voiced out my feelings for it. So from now on I’ll try my best to only follow the blogs that I find interest with.
Btw, I love the “just keep swimming, just keep swimming” from Dory haha, props on that ❤
Thanks!! I used to be the same way about following blogs that followed me, but then I realized that a lot of the content wasn’t relevant to me.
WOW! What a cool milestone. Congratulations on this and your awards. T Y for nominating me. I will get to doing it ASAP. It is an honour and I feel rather special. I love watching Gymnastics and Harry Potter is the shizzle xxx KEEP ON WRITING!
Thank you!! I never thought when I started my blog I would ever see 100 followers.
Ooh, congrats on the followers achievement! 🙂
I’m a Ravenclaw myself, but I totally understand the watching of much Disney. As a grown woman, I’ve justified this as being able to do whatever I want, lol.
Thanks for the nomination! And congrats on the 100 followers, that’s awesome 😀
Oh my favorite sport to watch is also baseball! The Red Sox are my second favorite team! My first is THE GIANTS!!! 😀 Thanks for the nomination!! 🙂
I love your answers! I’m a couple of inches shorter than you so I totally relate with the kid’s clothes. Same thing applies to shoes, and I’m also twenty-something. :)) And it’s a nice reminder that we write for ourselves more than anyone else. Congratulations on your 100 followers! 😀
Thanks! I had fun answering them!
“Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.” That’s a great way to put it!
Sirius Black is a great answer! I wonder how much of an impact that would have on the rest of the story.
Oh, I did gymnastics too and competed for a while. And, Sirius Black, I agree. Pretty much loved all of your answers.
And you gave some great advice! Thanks for the nomination. 💕
Thank you!! I hope you have fun answering my 11 questions!
I think I really would. I’m so excited! 🙂
Thanks so much for the nomination! 🙂 and congratulations for the 100 followers. You totally deserve it (and more)!
Aw I loved reading about how you started your blog! That is awesome advice too. I’m constantly reminding myself that I blog for me and as long as I’m enjoying my posts is what’s important. Also your third point is really relevant for me right now. Even though I’m on a semi hiatus I’m still commenting on other’s posts as much as I can!
Thanks so much for the nomination 🙂 I’ve already done this one, but I really appreciate the thought ♥
No problem! I nominated you for the Blogger Recognition Award, not the Liebster, unless you have done both.
Yeah, I’ve done both of these 😊
Nicely done! I have four nominations that I truly appreciate and haven’t had the time to do them. This seems like a nice compromise, and a nice way to recognize other bloggers. 🙂

Thank you! It was easy for me to nominate other blogs, I nominated the blogs that I interact with the most.
