Top 10 reasons I love to read:

6.) You can always be taken on an adventure

9.) Sometimes you can actually feel like you’re in the book

Yes to all of this! I do find myself thinking about some characters being my best friends. I just get so attached!

Characters becoming friends feels like a blessing and a curse. On one hand, yay, favorite character! On the other hand, after you finish the book/series, you feel like you’ve lost a friend.
I agree with this statement so much 🙂
So right. Missing characters is so frustrating. You can reread the book, but you’ll never know anything more about them. That’s when our imaginations run wild 😛
That’s another reason why I love to read, it let’s our imaginations run wild, and allows us as readers to sometimes become analytical readers.
Yes, exactly! It’s pretty awesome.
It really is. It’s so much more fun to become analytical readers on our own. I hated having to analyze readings when I was in school, it became so much more complicated than it needed to be.
I guess that’s where fanfiction comes in.
