Armchair BEA day 4

This is my second day of Armchair BEA, but the fourth day altogether and today’s topic is Surviving Fictional Worlds

Today we’ll talk about surviving fictional worlds. We all know that sometimes, the worlds we love in fiction can be dangerous. Which fictional worlds would you want to live in? Which worlds do you never want to dive into? Which worlds are you content to stay behind the glass, so to speak, rather than wishing to dive through the page? And once you get there, what would you do?

The only world that I would really want to live in is Harry Potter.  There’s just something about the entire world of Harry Potter that makes it seem like a fun world to live in.  There’s adventure, danger, magic, loads of interesting characters (including the magical creatures) and intriguing magical objects.  The Harry Potter world is truly my favorite fictional world.

The worlds that I would never want to dive into are Divergent and Lord of the Rings.  Some may disagree with me on this, but I feel like there is a lot more going on in these worlds than the Harry Potter world.  I also wouldn’t want to be injected with all kinds of stuff to screw with my mind in the world of Divergent.  In terms of Lord of the Rings, I would be way too tempted to put on the one ring to become invisible but still in a sense be seen.

When I would get to the world of Harry Potter, my first stop would definitely be Diagon Alley.  I would have to go to Gringott’s to change my money over.  My next stop after Gringott’s would be Madam Malkin’s to get some robes and then to Ollivander’s to get my wand.  I would also get myself a broom, it’s the only way I would want to travel other than to apparate.  After Diagon Alley I would find my way to Hogwarts to take in some classes and a quidditch match, maybe learn how to play Wizards Chess.
