My favorite book to movie adaptation is Harry Potter. I have seen others, however out of the ones that I have seen, Harry Potter was done the best. I feel like the movies stuck extremely close to the books, while some things had to be changed or taken out, it was extremely easy to relate things from the movies back to the books. The book series is one of my favorite book series and the movies are one of my favorite movie series. I always make it a point to re-read the books and watch the movies every year, and I always pick up on new things that I may have missed the other times that I read the books and watched the movies.
I have not read the harry potter book series but ask me the count i have of watching them and i ll be lost making a count.every time the movie is broadcasted in the tv i would sit and watch it no matter which part but i would watch it as many number of times as it comes.
You should visit Vinay’s blog – he has done a whole #AtoZChallenge this year on the Harry Potter theme : http://artofleo.com/
I too love both the book series as well as the movies. Last time we re-watched them was for Father’s day. I think it’s time to watch them again.
I mostly re-read the books and watch the movies in December, unless Freeform is doing one of the Harry Potter weekends.
I completely agree about the adaptations. I always feel really sorry for book fans when the films are done badly. There were things missing out of the films, and I completely understand why, but on the whole they were brilliant.
I absolutely adore Harry Potter 🙂 Even though some parts of the films frustrate me (such as cutting out scenes/characters and adding in things that were NOT in the books for no reason) they were still excellent and I will never tire of reading/watching 🙂 Are you looking forward to Fantastic Beasts?
@LunaNoctis from There She Goes
I am definitely looking forward to Fantastic Beasts. It’s disappointing that the release got pushed back though.
We are big Harry Potter Fans here. We also liked the Artemis Fowl series but our all time favorites are the Harry Dresden books.
I’ve never heard the of Harry Dresden books.
