How I keep my hair healthy and list of products that I use

Because I have naturally curly/wavy hair, keeping it healthy is extremely important, and something that wasn’t always so easy.  So to keep my hair healthy, I deep condition it once a week with Living Proof Restore Treatment Mask.  I drink a lot of water, and teas that have different antioxidants that support healthy skin and hair.  As far as supplements go, I take a multivitamin that has biotin in it and I also take Keratin.  I rarely heat style my hair, except on the rare occasion that I want to see  its true length.  I don’t wash it everyday, but when I do wash it I shampoo it twice, and I use dry shampoo between washes.  I try not to put it up in an elastic that often either, because that leads to breakage, I usually put it in a side pony or braid.  As for what products are used on my hair, they are free of sulfates, parabens, and silicones.  Sulfates strip hair of its natural oils, parabens are just preservatives but can also lead to frizziness, silicones are found in a lot of conditioners, styling products and heat protectants, they can weigh hair down and make your hair look and feel healthy even if it isn’t all that healthy.  A lot of the products in the list below are really conditioning!  It might seem like a lot of products, but it really isn’t, especially because the PHD Night Cap is only supposed to be used two to three times a week.

This is the list of products that I use on my hair:

Onesta hydrating shampoo and conditioner

Living Proof Curl Conditioning Wash

Living Proof Curl Detangling Rinse

Living Proof Curl Styling Cream

Living Proof Prime Style Extender Cream

Living Proof No Frizz Styling Spray

Living Proof Restore Targeted Repair Cream

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Night Cap

Argan Oil
