Sephora purchases in the past few months

Well it has been a while since I’ve posted anything.  So this is what I have been up to lately.  I’ve haven’t really done anything too interesting.  I’ve done quite a bit of shopping, and through that I have discovered some new favorite things.  A lot of my shopping has been done at Sephora, Barnes and Noble, and some other stores. This is all the stuff that I have bought at Sephora in the past few months:

I bought the Caudalie Polyphenol C-15 Anti-Wrinkle Eye and Lip Cream, Hourglass Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint, Hourglass Hidden Corrective Concealer and the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Inner Rim Liner.  I bought all these items back in November.  I use the eye cream at night and in the morning my dark circles aren’t as dark, and I love the Hourglass foundation and concealer.  The foundation blends perfectly into my skin and doubles as skin care because it has Hyaluronic Acid in it.  I just use the concealer under my eyes and it really brightens them up along with the Tarte liner in the inner corners of my eyes.  I also used my 500 Beauty Insider points on the Josie Maran Argan Natural Wonders, I use the Argan Oil on the ends of my hair to lock in moisture, and I gave some of the samples away.

For Christmas I got a Sephora gift card, so after Christmas I went shopping.  This was the result of that trip:

I bought the Boscia Tsubaki Beauty Oil after reading all kind of amazing reviews on it, the Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser (repurchase), Boscia Luminizing Black Mask (repurchase), Alterna Cleanse Extend Translucent Dry Shampoo, Tweezerman ProCurl Eye Lash Curler, Sephora Collection shadows in: Strawberry Macaroon, Coffee Break, Ballet Shoes, Romantic Comedy, Sunset at the Beach, and Tiramisu, six pan shadow palette, Sephora Collection blending brush, and the Sephora Collection Solid Brush Cleanser.  The eye shadow colors that I’ve been wearing the most lately are Strawberry Macaroon, Ballet Shoes, and Sunset at the Beach, I’ve also been blending those colors with Coffee Break and Tiramisu.  I tend to gravitate towards more neutral colors, and wearing eye shadow has really helped me leave my eyes alone, and not rub them as often.  I also love the dry shampoo because I don’t have to wash my hair as often, which with curly hair you aren’t supposed to wash it as often anyway.  I really love all of these products.

During multiple shopping trips to Sephora, a few different sales associates had told me that Living Proof was coming out with a line specifically for curly hair, and I couldn’t wait to try it.  I already use the Restore Treatment Mask, Restore Targeted Repair Cream and the No Frizz Styling Spray.  When the Curl Line was finally released I went online and bought the travel kit just to the products to see if I wanted to buy the full sizes.  I also used my 500 Beauty Insider points on the Boscia Pore Purifying Black Magic Set (I love Boscia, if you can’t tell).  The travel kit came with the Curl Conditioning Wash, Detangling Rinse and Styling Cream.  Each bottle was two ounces.  This is what the travel kit looks like:

After using the products a few times, last week I bought the full sizes of the Conditioning Wash and Detangling Rinse.  I couldn’t believe how amazing my curls looked and felt.  I have at least three days of frizz free hair, which is something that I’ve never had before.  I don’t know what it is about these products, but they really work!!  And best of all they are free of all sulfates, silicones and parabens.

  2. Sephora is my happy place!!!! I LOVE the Josie Maran Argan Oil too! I was VIB Rouge a couple of years ago, but I feel like the amount of money it takes to reach that level was not worth the subsequent benefits. Now I’m back to being a regular Beauty Insider. Maybe I’ll get to VIB status.
